Some exterior photos. The rear doors manually open horizontally, but while using the hydraulic loading and unloading system, they open vertically. Styling and layout can be designed to fit your needs. There is a variety of window sizes, tints, and styles, and the positioning and orientation are also fairly unrestricted. The top rear spoiler that you see is actually an external door hinge that also serves as an eaves-trough to prevent rain pouring onto your cargo while the door is open vertically (shown in the lower photo).
The applications of the mobile work station are very diverse. The design can be customized to accommodate many applications. Whether you are a self employed contractor or a large corporation seeking to improve safety, efficiency, and security for your equipment, we can build a unit that suits your needs.
The side compartment shown can be accessed from the inside or outside. It is also illuminated by the activation of dome-light switches on any of the doors. A bin system can also be provided to contain smaller items. This lockable compartment also secures the hydraulics remote control and activation switch to prevent unwanted tampering.
This unit has a built in work bench where a vice and/or other equipment can be bolted. There is also a swing out stool. The bench can be built to any height or length.
From top to bottom, these photos illustrate the assembly of shelving units from the stowed configuration. The hydraulic loading system can be operated with the shelving assembled, although height restrictions may apply to the upper shelf and the affected area of the main cargo platform.
We add as many storage compartments as we can to maximize as much of the available cargo space. The lower photo is a lockable liquid storage drawer to prevent containers from toppling. It is also isolated from the main interior to prevent fumes entering. This has not yet been tested to use as a flammable storage area. Use at your own risk with flammable liquids. The storage compartments can be lit by the activation of dome-light switches on all doors.
This is a 12 V DC to 120 V AC inverter that can be installed. This one shown is 3000 Watts. Extra RV batteries can also be installed. The red selector switch below allows you to isolate the trucks battery from the system to prevent it from being drained when using power tools. Or, for extra power, the truck battery can be added into the system with the truck running to take advantage of all batteries and alternator.
Here are some interior shots showing the driver side wall, passenger side wall, and towards the front. Two lighting systems can be use, one activated by dome-light type door switches, and another for manually switched lights. The interior is customizable with shelving, cabinets, parts drawers, workbench with a swing out stool, hooks, etc. Inform us of any special needs that we can build in for you.
