The above video shows the mobile work station. The toy box construction is identical but with minor changes to accomodate the customers applications.
Some exterior photos. The rear doors manually open horizontally, but while using the hydraulic loading and unloading system they open vertically. Styling and layout can be designed to fit your needs. There is a variety of window sizes, tints, and styles, and the positioning and orientation are also fairly unrestricted. The top rear spoiler that you see is actually an external door hinge that also serves as an eaves-trough to prevent rain pouring onto your cargo while the door is open vertically (shown in the lower photo).
This is an older style of the Toy Box loading two motorcycles. Our newer design eliminates the door latching arms seen overhanging the motorcycles. The quick release wheel chocks eliminate the need for straps, allowing the motorcycles to be secured closer together. Shown is a Toyota Tacoma. A truck with a higher payload capacity is recommended.
From top to bottom, these photos illustrate the assembly of shelving units from the stowed configuration. The hydraulic loading system can be operated with the shelving assembled, although height restrictions may apply to the upper shelf and the affected area of the main cargo platform.
The side compartment shown can be accessed from the inside or outside. It is also illuminated by the activation of dome-light switches on any of the doors. A bin system can also be provided to contain smaller items. This lockable compartment also secures the hydraulics remote control and activation switch to prevent unwanted tampering.
We add as many storage compartments as we can to maximize available cargo space. The lower photo is a lockable liquid storage drawer to prevent containers from toppling. It is also isolated from the main interior to prevent fumes entering. This has not yet been tested to use as a flammable storage area. Use at your own risk with flammable liquids. The storage compartments can be illuminated by the activation of dome-light switches on all doors.
This is a 12 V DC to 120 V AC inverter that can be installed. This one shown is 3000 Watts. Extra RV batteries can also be installed. The red selector switch below allows you to isolate the trucks battery from the system to prevent it from being drained when using power tools. Or, for extra power, the truck battery can be added into the system with the truck running to take advantage of all batteries and alternator.
As a safety feature, the hydraulics remote control requires operator activation before using. This prevents accidental tampering of the remote control. Activation is indicated by the blue light effects that can be seen from the front, in the rear-view mirrors, as well as from the rear corners of the vehicle.
Lawn tractors, ATV’s, motorcycles, snowmobiles, anything under 1000lbs that can fit.
This photo shows the over cab storage area, and in the far background, the hydraulic power-pack and valving system compartment. You will also see a TV mounted to the right with a surrounding protective frame (in blue) to protect it from passing obstacles. If you provide a small lightweight TV, we can provide adjustable TV mounting features in your Toy Box.
